Making IT Easier
About
Ric Chapman

I've been in the IT field for 8 years since leaving college and I continue to thrive in the industry today currently providing support for several food manufacturing sites in the UK. Originally starting in web design I very quickly discovered my passion in providing computer support after getting constantly mistaken for the support manager! This lead to a quick career change after I landed a job with an expanding architectual practice where I continued to develop my support abilities for the next 6 years.
During this time I gave close attention to the Microsoft Windows operating systems and networks and as a result I've passed several certifications including CompTIA A+ / Network + and presently hold the status of Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator displaying my copetance with Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Windows Server 2000/2003 and Microsoft Network Infrastructures.
About
RicChapman.Com
I've decided to develop this web site to help me in my goal to provide an indepth support service to the home/small business computer users in all aspects of personal computing. As well as providing extensive guides to day to day computer use I'll also be tackeling the personal and social aspects of computing and how you can use your computer to make day to day tasks that little bit easier, later on we'll be expanding the site to include education support for all members of the family, something I'm quite excited about! The resources on this site are completely free but should you require a little more help we can provide on site support for home and small businesses in and around Lincolnshire/Cambridgeshire in the UK at very competitive rates so see what we can offer on our Services page. We'd really like to hear what you think of the site so please let us know by emailing us at ric@ricchapman.com.

Recycle IT!
Recycling your computer equipment these days is not always a simple matter, most computers and computer accessories should never be thrown in the bin but recycled at an Electronic Recycling Site to ensure correct disposal. If you have any computer equipment ready for the scrap then let us know and we'll happily collect and recycle at no cost! Read more on my Services page.
